Shares of Russian wireless provider Vimpel-Communications (NYSE: VIP) sank recently, retreating from all-time highs, after a Bear Stearns analyst downgraded the stock, saying the share price is high and competition is set to increase. Vimpel shares have more than doubled in value this year, and reached a high of $41.65 recently. That led analyst Alex Kuznetsov, who said he thinks the stock will be worth $31 per share at the end of 2008, to downgrade shares to "Underperform" from "Peer Perform."
Diamond I, Inc. (OTCBB: DMOI) announced recently that its free Poker web site, www.islandbluecasino.net, will add prizes for its top winners at its Island Blue Casino beginning December 1, 2007. "By adding prizes for our best players, we expect to capitalize on the overwhelmingly positive response to our Island Blue Casino free Poker web site," said DMOI's CEO David Loflin.
