A graduate of the prestigious newhouse broadcasting school at Syracuse University, Defo is heard daily throughout South Florida on WFTL 850 am from 6-9 am mornings, www.850wftl.com, and WWNN 1470 am 6-8 pm nightly on the Jeff Deforrest show on the epic radio network, www.epicfinancialnetwork.com.

Jeff is also the ring side commentator for warriors boxing, www.warriorsboxing.com and has worked and continues to work for HBO and Showtime, Spike and many other independent television stations covering fights internationally.

Jeff, during his several decades on radio, has been the voice of Florida horse racing, the Miami Dolphins, the Miami Hurricanes, and covers many international fights and other events every year.

His radio shows have been a fixture in Florida and his professional work is known world wide in the industry. His Friday evening show is with Leslie Visser as co-host, the only woman in the National Football Hall of Fame; together, on this show, they continue to draw and interview some of the greatest names in sports.
