Pulte Homes Sells Out Condo Neighborhood and Centex to Build in Nocatee

Pulte Homes (NYSE: PHM) has sold out Horizons at Lake Vista, a community of 240 condominiums in southeast Orlando near Orlando International Airport. Bloomfield Hills, Mich.-based Pulte Homes sold the 240 condominium homes in one year with an average sales price of $180,000. Horizons at Lake Vista is located within Vista Lakes, a 948-acre planned community by Newland Communities. KB Home (NYSE: KBH) and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. recently announced plans for their second community. KB Home Hampton Oaks: Created with Martha Stewart will be built just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. The community, located along the banks of the Chattahoochee River in South Fulton County, is scheduled to open this summer and will feature approximately 800 homes spanning 480 acres.
Centex Homes Centex (NYSE: CTX) has bought 238 acres in Nocatee and will build up to 400 single-family homes and 100 townhomes in the project. Officials with the PARC Group, the developer of Nocatee, said the sale of the property to closed last week. It wrapped up the first residential phase in the massive project in northern St. Johns County. China Direct Trading Corporation (OTC BB:CHDT) (China Direct), a U.S. trading company, recently announced that its subsidiary, Overseas Building Supply, LLC (OBS), has submitted an application for Notice of Approval for the company's imported clay roof tiles to the Dade County Product Approval Department, which approves all building materials used externally on structures.
