Capstone Unveils STP(R) Branded Products at AAPEX Booth 940 and Office Depot Delays 3Q Earns

City of Industry, CA --(www.USEquityNews.com)-- 10/30/2007 - Retail industry alert provided by U.S. Equity News. Capstone Industries Inc., a consumer products company focused on product placement with Retailers nationwide and a wholly owned subsidiary of CHDT Corp. (OTCBB: CHDO), recently launched their STP® branded power tools and automotive accessories line at AAPEX, Las Vegas Sands Expo Center, Booth #940. The new STP® products take center stage in Capstone's booth 940 at the Sands Expo Center. The company invites prospective retailers and interested media to test drive all the products at the show.

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. (NASDAQ: DLTR), the nation's leading operator of single-price point dollar stores, recently announced that it has reached an agreement with Visa to accept Visa credit cards at all of its more than 3,300 stores beginning October 31, 2007. The company will continue to accept debit cards and Discover® Network cards at all stores. In addition, MasterCard® credit cards are accepted at approximately 980 Dollar Tree locations.

Office Depot Inc. (NYSE: ODP) recently delayed its third-quarter earnings report due to its audit committee's independent review of vendor program funds, a development that one analyst said raised questions about the nation's second-largest office supplies retailer's financial statements. Its shares fell more than 14 percent. The review primarily relates to the timing of the recognition of certain funds, the Delray Beach-based company said. Office Depot had been scheduled to release its third-quarter results Tuesday; a new date wasn't released.

Instead, the paper reported that Minneapolis-based Target (NYSE: TGT) will stage a fashion show using holograms projected in a section of Grand Central Terminal in New York City on Nov. 6 and 7. The retailer will repeat the show every 10 minutes from noon to midnight the first day and 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. the second day. It also plans to post a video of the show on YouTube, Facebook and its Web site.
